Welcome to the 2015 season.

The Junior Presentation evening last September closed the 2014 season and planning for this season commenced in October!  8 weeks of Winter nets have been successful and the Natwest Cricket Force open weekend on 28/29 March has enabled us to complete final preparations

Thank you to all who support the Junior Section – this includes, and is not limited to, Ground, Membership Secretary, Child Welfare Officer, Sales and Marketing, Team Managers, Umpires and Scorers. With their support I am pleased to advise that we continue to meet Clubmark Accredited requirements.

We are indebted to the hard work of the volunteer qualified ECB coaches. Regrettably we have lost the services of Clive Cowx and Stuart Craig so please feel free to contact me if you are interested in undertaking UKCC2 coaching certification.

Last year’s May and August Coaching Camp were a great success and we are hopeful of repeating these this year. The camps will be open to all age groups and the objective here is to provide additional coaching opportunity to juniors in 2015 season.

The junior section will continue to manage the significant challenges presented as a result of coaching in excess of 170 juniors and establishing 8 teams to fulfil in excess of 90 matches!  We strive to maintain and hopefully improve our support structure as it continues to provide a vital role in the future of Toft Cricket Club, and its status within the local community both today and in years to come.

As a result we continue to produce a good number of junior players who represent Toft at District and County levels. Both junior and academy players continue to make excellent contributions with bat and ball for the senior sides in the Cheshire County Premier League

To continue to develop the junior section further, and provide the necessary support to our juniors both in coaching and matches, then it is absolutely essential that parental support is made available. We all should work together for the benefit of boys and girls in the club and our local community so your involvement and support in any capacity would be most warmly welcomed. For further info please contact or speak to one of the coaches.

Once again we will have Toft junior clothing available for purchase (cricket shirts, trousers, caps, fleeces etc.) Monies raised will be invested in the junior section.

So, let us all have a great time and we look forward to you getting involved in helping your club and your children progress.

With best wishes to all for a successful and enjoyable season
